This preparation encompasses ensuring sufficient Human Resources (HR), health center infrastructure is up to par, and adequate reagents, which are compounds used in chemical reactions and often for blood testing, and medical devices.
"We always coordinate with all health centers for HR readiness, infrastructure, medical devices, reagents, and disposable medical materials for this free health check program," she stated after reviewing the first day of the Free Health Check at the Cengkareng Health Center, Jakarta, Monday.
She also ensured budget readiness to support this program, coming from the health center budget, regional budget, and government assistance.
Furthermore, Andalusia confirmed that there is no specific quota in the program for the public to participate.
"There is no limit (to the number of quotas). It all depends on the age group, ranging from babies to the elderly. However, all of them can access this facility," she remarked.
According to the ministry, each age group will have its examination package. Children under six will undergo eight types of examinations, including for thalassemia and blood sugar.
Meanwhile, those aged 18 years and above, or adults, will have access to 19 types of examinations, including health checks for prospective brides and grooms.
The elderly will be able to undergo geriatric examinations, which will not be provided to other age groups.
Earlier on Saturday (February 8), spokesperson for the Presidential Communications Office, Adita Irawati, stated that this program is one of the manifestations of President Prabowo Subianto's campaign to provide free health services to all.
"The president said that other countries had the same health approach. This format has been carried out in other developed countries," she noted.
