Danantara is a manifestation of the nation's major commitment to encouraging infrastructure development and economic growth, he added.
"Every investment that comes in must be managed well so that it truly provides benefits to the people. Infrastructure is not just a physical project, but the main foundation for building a more advanced and prosperous future for Indonesia," Hanggodo explained.
Danantara is expected to accelerate development and increase efficiency in managing state assets.
It could also open up wider opportunities for the private sector to participate in national infrastructure development.
Using a more professional and investment-oriented management model, Danantara is expected to optimize the use of state assets to boost productivity and economic value, Hanggodo said.
"We want to ensure that every project supported by Danantara runs according to the principles of good governance. Transparency and accountability must be a priority so that incoming investment truly has a significant impact on society," he added.
Therefore, he said, collaboration between the government, private sector, and Danantara will be key for creating better connectivity, accelerating equitable development, and increasing Indonesia's competitiveness at the global level.
Danantara is also expected to support inclusive economic growth by ensuring that infrastructure development is not only centered in big cities, but also reaches remote areas.
This is in line with the government's vision to ensure equitable development and improve people's welfare across Indonesia, Hanggodo said.
In addition, with the establishment of the investment management body, the infrastructure financing scheme will not only rely on the state budget, but also utilize long-term investment from various parties.
"We want to create a sustainable financing system so that infrastructure development is not hampered by budget constraints. With a more flexible model, we can ensure that strategic projects continue to run and provide broad benefits to the people," Hanggodo explained.
In addition to focusing on physical development, Danantara is expected to support sustainability-based projects, including the development of green energy, environmentally friendly transportation systems, and infrastructure digitalization.
The government has emphasized that in every investment that comes in, environmental and sustainability aspects must be the main considerations so that ensuing development is not only beneficial for the current but also the future generation.
"The infrastructure that we build must pay attention to sustainability aspects. Danantara must be an instrument that supports green and inclusive development, so Indonesia can adapt to global challenges, including climate change," Hanggodo said.
With Danantara, Indonesia now has a new tool to accelerate the development of quality infrastructure that not only increases economic productivity, but also brings long-term benefits to the wider community, he added.
