"Our programs align with Baznas' determination to uplift the people," he remarked during the inauguration of a Baznas Healthy House in Tanjungpinang City, Riau Islands Province, on Wednesday (May 7).
Focusing on rural development, Achmad noted that Baznas has programs aimed at enabling alms beneficiaries in villages to run livestock and crop-based businesses by providing them with capital, training, and marketing guidance.
"These initiatives are expected to alleviate poverty, especially in rural regions," he explained.
He affirmed that the philanthropic agency had also devised various initiatives dedicated to assisting urban residents, such as the ZAuto program, which focused on helping small vehicle repair shops grow with additional capital and adequate tools and equipment.
In the food and beverage sector, the official drew attention to ZChicken, describing it as a program designed to assist in developing crispy chicken businesses.

Furthermore, he spotlighted the ZCoffee program, which aims to empower residents through small coffee shops or cafés that sell Baznas-branded coffee products.
Additionally, the agency has been implementing the ZMart program to support the operations of small retail stores.
Achmad reaffirmed that all these programs aim to raise the living standards of alms beneficiaries and create new job opportunities.
He also emphasized the agency's focus on capacity-building activities to help beneficiaries grow and sustain their businesses.
"Our varied programs have proven effective in boosting the economies of residents, particularly alms recipients," he remarked.
Bearing this in mind, he encouraged the public to support these efforts by entrusting their charitable donations to Baznas, which utilizes the funds to empower and uplift communities.
