“This event is a strategic venue to enhance bilateral and multilateral relations in the defense sector,” Gunawan said during the expo here on Wednesday.
He noted that hundreds of defense sector companies are showcasing their top products at the event.
These interactions, he explained, could lead to transactions and collaborations, including the purchase of defense equipment and joint product development between domestic and international industries.
Such engagements, he added, have the potential to foster deeper cooperation between countries and promote peace through industrial partnerships. Gunawan emphasized that this aligns with Indonesia’s values.
He assured that the exhibition would help foster peace between countries and strong security stability.
“In accordance with what the President (Prabowo Subianto) said, Indonesia is a country that loves peace but also values independence. Therefore, there should be no war that leads to destruction,” he said.
