Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto held a meeting on Monday (June 30) to review and receive updates on government programs directly from ministers, according to State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi.

The closed-door meeting took place after the inauguration of Wisma Danantara, the new headquarters of the Danantara Indonesia Investment Management Agency.

"On that occasion, Mr. President reviewed all of our programs, looking into the work of each minister, especially regarding priority programs," Hadi told the media in Jakarta on Tuesday (July 1).

The minister, concurrently serving as Prabowo's spokesperson, noted that the president also instructed all ministers in the Red and White Cabinet to continue providing him with updates on the progress of their respective programs during his ongoing two-week diplomatic tour.

"He (the president) demanded updates on the progress to ensure all programs continue to run," he emphasized.

On Monday, the head of state inaugurated Wisma Danantara on Jenderal Gatot Subroto Avenue in Jakarta, designating it as the "big house" for overseeing state investments.

The ceremony featured a report presentation by Danantara Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani and the symbolic cutting of a tumpeng, a traditional cone-shaped rice dish, by President Prabowo.

"The cutting of the tumpeng was carried out as a form of gratitude to mark a new chapter for Danantara as a state investment management institution that currently manages assets of around US$1 trillion," Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya noted.

After the event, the president immediately met with several ministers, including Minister Hadi, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, and Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno.

Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar, Cabinet Secretary Wijaya, and Danantara’s top officials were also present, including CEO Roeslani, Chief Operating Officer (COO) Dony Oskaria, and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Pandu Sjahrir.
