During a public education event held here on Friday, deputy chairperson of the Presisi Command Post at the National Police Headquarters, Brigadier General Indarto, expressed confidence in the program’s success.
In a written statement received here on Saturday, he said that regulatory support, synergy among ministries and agencies, and the active involvement of village communities can help make the program a success.

He reaffirmed that Polri is ready to provide strategic support for the cooperative ecosystem in villages through measures such as preventing extortion or illegal levies on small businesses.
He said that the police will also crack down on food cartels, collect field data on cooperative formation and its challenges, and provide assistance through regional and local police work units.
Through these collaborative and measurable steps, the cooperatives are expected to become not only economic institutions but also symbols of independence, justice, and mutual cooperation in building a more prosperous future for Indonesia.
On the same occasion, deputy for institutional affairs and digitalization at the Ministry of Cooperatives, Henra Saragih, praised Polri’s move to provide assistance and support for the Red and White Cooperatives program.
The cooperatives are expected to emerge as economic centers in villages, housing strategic business units such as staple goods stores, pharmacies, village clinics, cold storage facilities, and logistics services.
