Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture organized a Free Health Check-up (CKG) for all its employees as part of efforts to accelerate the national health screening target.

“Many government and private employees still find it difficult to undergo health checks due to work. That’s why we brought this service directly to the office to make it more efficient,” Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno remarked here on Tuesday.

The CKG event for all of the ministry's personnel is being held over three days, from Tuesday (August 19) to Thursday (August 21).

Pratikno emphasized that the initiative reflects strong support for President Prabowo Subianto’s flagship health program, which has so far reached 19.7 million people nationwide.

The health screening was carried out by medical personnel from the Gambir, Tanah Abang, Menteng, and Senen Health Centers (Puskesmas), as well as the ministry's clinic.

A total of 710 participants took part, consisting of the ministry's staff, members of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP), building management personnel, and security officers.

Pratikno also encouraged other government and private institutions to implement similar programs.

“This activity also serves as a means of self-evaluation, encouraging staff to improve their health while preventing diseases early,” he noted.

He also highlighted the importance of maintaining quality of life through a balanced lifestyle. After undergoing health checks, the next step is to sustain a healthy lifestyle to ensure overall well-being, both physically and mentally.

“Work-life balance is important. Workload may be high, but with time management, light exercise during work breaks, a healthy diet, and stress management, productivity can improve while keeping health in check,” he said.
