Jakarta (ANTARA) - KAI Commuter trains operated normally with 1,063 Jabodetabek Commuter Line trips running from 4:00 a.m. to midnight on Monday to serve the public, following days of anarchic protests in the capital and several regions.

Vice President Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Joni Martinus, said the operation aims to ensure continued access to public transportation services for daily commuters.

However, he urged passengers to prioritize safety and security while using public transport, particularly the Commuter Line.

“We also encourage the public to play an active role in maintaining public facilities at stations and onboard trains so they remain in good condition and comfortable for shared use,” Joni said.

He emphasized that public transport infrastructure is a shared asset and must be protected for the benefit of all users.

“Updated operational information for Commuter Line services will be regularly announced through official channels and Commuter Line social media platforms,” he added.

Joni also reminded passengers to remain orderly, prioritize safety, and treat public facilities with care.

“Always follow the instructions of station officers when using the Commuter Line,” he said.
