"Now, we have plowing machines that can work automatically without human direction. In addition, we also have drone sprayers to support agricultural efficiency," he said.
He made the statement while giving a public lecture during the 39th Anniversary of the Hasanuddin University Postgraduate School, here on Friday.
On that occasion, he also motivated students to dare to achieve their dreams.
"Dare to take the process, dare to act. We will perfect the results. If you want to be something, you must dare to go through the process," Amran advised.
Dean of Unhas Postgraduate Program, Budu, said the presence of the minister at the public lecture was an honor and an important opportunity for Unhas to gain inspiration, insight, and a deep understanding of strategic issues in national development, particularly in the agricultural sector.
"We hope this activity will not only provide new knowledge but also motivate the academic community to make a real contribution to addressing the nation's challenges," said Budu.
Vice Chancellor for Human Resources, Alumni and Information Systems of Unhas, Farida Patittingi, hopes that this activity can become a learning forum that enriches students' academic experience.
