After meeting with the President at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Tuesday, Purbaya said that Prabowo expressed appreciation for the policies taken by the Ministry of Finance.
"The President just said the policies were good. Apparently, the President observed me on TikTok," he said.
According to him, President Prabowo fully supports the ministry’s steps in developing the national economy.
"It means the President monitors through media. It seems he appreciates them. These are good and aggressive steps. We must indeed be aggressive in promoting our achievements and upcoming programs, so that the public is aware," he said.
He added that the President has not yet had the time to provide direct input.
"I arrived a bit late. I think the President will provide input in the future," he said.
The minister also mentioned that the President distributed books on successful national development strategies as reference material.
"Of course, there are several issues where the President has a team that can support us if we need it," he added.
