Tangerang (ANTARA) - The Indonesian government has officially implemented the "All Indonesia" app service system, which is now in use at all international airports and seaports.

"We hope this will make travel easier, more convenient, more efficient, and reduce travel time for travelers arriving from abroad," said Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurthi Yudhoyono (AHY) in Tangerang on Wednesday.

According to AHY, the All Indonesia app has been implemented nationwide across all airports and ports, providing an integrated service system to simplify travel processes.

"Certainly, the integration is the result of hard work from all parties, especially the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections, in improving public services," he said.

AHY explained that All Indonesia is designed to meet travel and shipping needs at airports and ports, covering health, customs, and quarantine requirements.

"The system integrates functions such as customs, health checks, and quarantine costs for animals, including fish and related products, entering Indonesia," he added.

AHY stated that the new service is expected to boost economic growth and tourism while attracting more investment, supporting Indonesia’s ambition to become a world-class tourism destination.

Meanwhile, Minister of Immigration and Corrections Agus Adrianto emphasized that during the rollout of the All Indonesia service, data security and user comfort remain a priority.

"We are committed to maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the security of user data," he said.

Adrianto added that passengers and goods entering the country will be automatically detected through a system linked to the relevant supervisory authorities.
