Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf said on Friday the ministry is coordinating with the Finance Ministry and regional governments to validate recipient data.
“In about a week to 10 days, cash assistance will be transferred to all eligible families. The process is ongoing, including direct surveys in districts and cities,” Yusuf said.
As of Friday, around 300,000 beneficiary records had been corrected, he added.
The ministry has synchronized data with Pos Indonesia, which helps distribute BLTS for the October–December 2025 period, valued at Rp900,000 (about US$58) per family.
The program targets 35 million underprivileged families listed in Statistics Indonesia’s (BPS) updated database. Of that total, 18 million families still lack bank accounts, requiring further verification before funds can be disbursed.
Account verification is essential to enable the transfer of funds through state-owned banks and Pos Indonesia, Yusuf said.

He explained that the BLTS program is part of President Prabowo Subianto’s broader social protection initiative to safeguard household purchasing power and maintain economic stability.
“With an average of four members per family, the program is expected to reach about 140 million people,” Yusuf said. “It should provide an economic boost toward the year’s end.”
The ministry’s efforts come as the government seeks to accelerate aid distribution and improve targeting accuracy through digital systems and inter-agency coordination.
Officials said ongoing data validation aims to reduce duplication, prevent mistargeting, and ensure that social assistance reaches the poorest households efficiently.
