In a statement cited on Sunday, Hartarto said the Minsk forum finalized a measurable roadmap for collaboration across various fields.
These fields include trade, investment, humanitarian missions, social affairs, and culture.
He emphasized that the advanced meeting was crucial to ensure the forthcoming visit of Lukashenko would yield practice-oriented bilateral agreements.
Hartarto and Ryzhenkov used their Minsk engagement to discuss plans for opening direct flights between the two countries.
The discourse is expected to be a major highlight during the upcoming high level talks in July.
The two ministers also exchanged views on ways for Indonesia and Belarus to align visa policies to boost mobility.
They noted that aligning these policies would benefit both international tourists and business actors.
Moreover Indonesia underscored its intention to establish an embassy in Minsk to strengthen diplomatic ties.
On industrial growth, both sides explored new avenues for collaboration in electric vehicles, semiconductors, and potassium fertilizers, for which Belarus holds abundant feedstock.
Securing fertilizer supply is central to Indonesia’s broader goal of strengthening food security through downstreaming natural resources, including food commodities.
The meeting also addressed trade opportunities with the ministers highlighting the ratification process of the Indonesia-Eurasian Economic Union Free Trade Agreement (IEAEU FTA).
Ryzhenkov noted that the Belarusian parliament had ratified the treaty which now awaits presidential approval.
Indonesia meanwhile aims to complete its ratification of the agreement in the second half of 2026.
The forum further covered possible exchanges of students and professional workers between the two nations.
These exchanges include opportunities for Indonesian talents to join health institutions in Belarus which are recognized for their high quality.
Hartarto welcomed the prospects and stressed the importance of expanding such programs to strengthen national human capital.
He concluded that this matches the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields prioritized by President Prabowo Subianto.
