Makassar affected by La Nina until March

Makassar, South Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said a number of areas, especially Makassar in South Sulawesi have been affected by La Nina phenomena until March 2011.

Local BMKG spokesman Sujawro said here on Thursday that the impact of La Nina has been felt as far as Makassar.
