"We have finished the whole report and submitted it to the House," BPK head Hadi Purnomo said at a meeting with the House Bank Century Settlement Supervisory Tean headed by Pramono Anung.
Hadi said the report was the result of an investigative audit done by BPK at the House`s request and the whole report had been submitted to the DPR.
Head of Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Busyro Muqqodas and four KPK vice chairmen also attended the House Bank Century Settlement Supervisory Team meeting.
The meeting`s chairman, Pramono Anung, could not give an opportunity to Busyro and Hadi Purnomo to speak until the last 30 minutes of the two-and-a-half-hour meeting as a heated debate and argument occured about the legal status of KPK vice chairmen Bibit Samad Rianto and Chandra M Hamzah.
The protracted debate caused Gayus Lumbuun of the Indonesian Democratic Party-Struggle (PDIP) faction, Nurdiman Munir of the Golkar party faction and Fachri Hamzah to walk out from the meeting.
After receiving the BPK report on Bank Century, the Supervisory Team would further examine and study it , Pramono said.(*)
