Pamekasan, E Java (ANTARA News) - Fifty seven houses in two villages in Gladak Anyar and Parteker, Kota sub-district, Pamekasan, Madura island, East Java, had been inundated.

In Gladak Anyar 49 houses had been flooded, and eight in Parteker.

"The total number of people whose houses have been inundated has reached 208 in the two villages," Nur Hidajatul Firdaus, the sub-district chief, said.

Firdaus said the figure was still provisional.

In Gladak Anyar, the floods inundated four areas and some houses were totally damaged. (*)
