Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Jakarta Metropolitan Police Office is to investigate Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Chairman Nurdin Halid for allegedly involved in an attack to the car of Indonesian Premier League director Andi Darussalam Tabusalla.

"We would issue the warrant in this week," spokesman of Metro Jaya Police Office Senior Commissioner Baharudin Djafar said here Wednesday.

Nurdin might meet the police summon next week, Baharudin said.

Police investigator would question Nurdin about any involvement with Edo also known as Kalong, suspected as the mastermind behind the attack to Andi`s car.

The investigator would also question Nurdin about a group of people escorting him, Baharudin said, adding that it would be impossible that the one being escorted did not notice about the escort.

Previously, police had investigated Nurdin Halid`s brother, Nursyam Halid also known as Ancang who had met Edo before the attack took place.

A group of people was reported to wreck a car, belongs to Andi Darussalam, after a meeting between PSSI and Indonesian National Sports Council (KONI) officials in Senayan on Friday (March 4).

Police has arrested two persons allegedly involved in the attack, Abraham Tuhehai and Domistinus Tuhehai.

They were caught in Jelambar and Cengkareng, West Jakarta on Sunday (March 20).

Menwhile, Edo, who is suspected as the main actor for the attack surrendered himself to Metro Jaya Police Office on Thursday ( April 7)

Police is still looking for the four other suspects who are still at large. They are Robby Talapessy, Bobby, Berry and Andre.
