Democrat Party cadres have in the past few days been rumoured and reported in media to be allegedly involved a number of corruption cases.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said their involvement certainly had to be proven objectively. In view of that he let law enforcement agencies and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to carry out their duties.

"KPK and law enforcement agencies are called to carry out their duties transparently and unaccountably so that the public could follow the process well," he said.
