"We regret that we have had to close the main Embassy building for operational reasons. This is due to circumstances specific to the security arrangements for the site of the Embassy building," the British embassy in Jakarta said on its official statement, Wednesday.
The statement said that the closure of the embassy`s main building is not because of a specific threat or a change in the threat level in Indonesia.
"Essential Embassy operations, including Consular, are continuing off-site. However, this situation will inevitably disrupt our normal service delivery. We apologise for any inconvenience caused," it said. (F001)
