Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono delivered a general lecture at Indonesia Young Leaders Forum 2011 at the Ballroom of Pacific Place here on Thursday.

The forum where President Yudhoyono gave the general lecture at 11 on Thursday morning was organized in cooperation with the Association of Young Indonesian Businessmen (HIPMI) and the University of Indonesia`s Faculty of Economy.

In the forum, themed "Creating New National Competitiveness through the Abilities of Young Leaders", the participants will discuss various issues related to the economy, politics, defense, and social and cultural issues.

Present as speakers in the economic dialog were Anindya Bakrie, Firmanzah, and Sandiago Uno; while the defense and security dialog the speakers were Maruarar Sirait, Nurul Arifin, and Yenny Wahid; and the social culture dialog the speakers were Wanda Hamidah and Joko Widodo.

Meanwhile the general lecture of President Yudhoyono was about leadership.

On the occasion, Coordinating Minister for Economy Hatta Rajasa is also scheduled to explain the Master Plan for the Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesian Economic Development (MP3EI) 2011-2025 which was launched by President Yudhoyono on May 27, 2011.

The launch of MP3EI 2011-2025 was designed to support national development planning.

In her address to the launch of MP3EI here on Friday, May 27, State Minister for National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) Armida Alisjahbana said the MP3EI was not meant to replace the existing development plan but would be integrated through approaches among the government, the business world, and the community.

Armida said at the time that in line with the launch of the master plan to attract more investment and create more jobs, the government as a regulator would always take policies to facilitate the business world.

The government would deregulate policies hampering the business world, accelerate the enactment of laws and government regulations and scrap overlapping policies between the central and regional governments, she said.
