Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono inaugurated former Human Rights Commission member Albert Hasibuan as a member of Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) at the State Palace here on Tuesday.

Albert will serve until 2014 with other Wantimpres members among others Emil Salim, Ginanjar Kartasasmita, Meutia Hatta, Siti Fadilah Supari, Ma`ruf Amin, Widodo AS, and Nur Hassan Wirajuda.

Albert was inaugurated as member Presidential Advisory Council for legal and human rights affairs, based on Presidential Decree No. 2M/2012 which was issued on January 3, 2012.

The inauguration ceremony at 11 on Tuesday morning at the State Palace was attended by Vice President Boediono, First Lady Ani Yudhoyono, Madame Herawati Boediono, leaders of state institutions, cabinet ministers, National Defense Forces (TNI) chief, National Police chief, attorney general, and several other officials.

Albert Hasibuan used to be a member of Human Rights Commission and fact finding joint team for the first and second Semanggi case.
