"At 3 pm local time, the first flight group flying them to Bali, is slated to arrive at Ngurah Rai airport," Bali manpower and transmigration agency chief I Wayan Wiratha said here Saturday.
Those for repatriation are part of the TKIs working in Costa Concordia, while 14 others had already been sent home on Friday.
He said the 49 TKIs are going to Bali in three groups. But with regard to the type of plane to fly the TKIs, Wiratha still has no idea nor information from the Indonesian embassy in Italy or the Indonesian manpower placement and protection agency (BN2PTKI).
He said the 50 TKIs from Bali victims of the stranded ship are still in Italy, but only one of them, I Nyoman Juniarta, cannot go along with his friends.
"Juniarta had a broken backbone, feet, and shoulder, and is still under treatment at a hospital in Italy. He has already been operated on, and the Costa company promised to give him the opportunity to his family to see him," he said.
The Association of Indonesian Seamen had already contacted the Bali manpower and transmigration agency to facilitate the visit of Juniarta`s family next week.
Wiratha said to overcome the trauma of the victims, PPTKIS based in Bali, namely PT Meranti Magsaysay, PT Bali Guna Intinusa, and PT Cemerlang Tunggal Intikarsa, have pledged health inspection and psychological assistance.
Likewise, Costa Conciere has also promised the TKIs to go to work again as soon as their psychological condition allows them.(*)
