Bratislava (ANTARA News/Xinhua-OANA) - The bankruptcy of Hungarian national airline Malev has affected thousands of Slovak travelers, including those who have bought tickets from the company and also those who are already abroad, local media reported on Friday.

"We estimate that several thousand people who flew with Malev are still away," said Lukas Svaro from pelikan.sk, a web site selling flight tickets.

According to Svaro, the company`s bankruptcy has especially affected travelers in Hungary and Slovakia.
