Implementation of CBT demonstrates (ISC)2(R)'s commitment to meet the critical demand for information security professionals worldwide


(ISC)2(R)( http://www.isc2.org ) ("ISC-squared"), the world's largest information security professional body and administrators of the CISSP( https://www.isc2.org/cissp/default.aspx )(R), today announced that candidates can begin registering for computer-based testing (CBT) for CISSP, CISSP concentrations and the SSCP certifications on June 1, 2012. As part of its ongoing commitment to fill the pipeline of qualified information security professionals worldwide, this final stage of (ISC)2's transition to CBT creates a better user experience for a larger pool of candidates and greater global exam accessibility.

Currently, the Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP(R))( http://www.isc2.org/csslp ) and Certification Authorization Professional (CAP(R))( http://www.isc2.org/cap ) exams are available via CBT at all approved Pearson VUE(R)( http://www.pearsonvue.com ) testing centers worldwide, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)( http://www.isc2.org/cissp ) and Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP(R))( http://www.isc2.org/sscp ) are available via CBT at approved Pearson VUE testing centers throughout Latin America( https://www.isc2.org/latin-am-cbt.aspx ).
