Any information that a "third side" took part in drafting the contract, therefore increasing the price of the jets, is not true, according to the embassy statement.Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Russia`s Embassy in Jakarta denied a report on Monday that there was a third party involved in the purchase of its Sukhoi jet by Indonesia.
According to a press release issued by the Russian Embassy in Jakarta, the process of drafting and signing the contract for the delivery of the six Su-30MK2 jets for Indonesia was carried out directly by officials of the Ministry of Defence of Indonesia and the JSC Rosoboronexport and was implemented according to lawful procedures established by the two countries.

The contract for the delivery of six Su-30MK2 jets and additional equipment was signed between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia and the Russian state corporation Rosoboronexport in late December 2011.
The open joint-stock company Rosoboronexport was established by a Decree of the President of the Russian Federation and is the state intermediary agency for exports and imports of military and dual-purpose products, technologies and services.
Only the JSC Rosoboronexport is entitled to supply the entire range of armaments and military equipment produced by Russian defence enterprises and authorised for export to the global market.
Besides the six Su-30MK2 jets, the contract also provides that aircraft engines and spare parts be delivered to Indonesia, and Indonesian specialists be trained according to the programme agreed by the two countries. It should be noted that the contract takes into consideration all wishes expressed by Indonesia with regard to a list and amount of equipment being bought.
The delivery of the first group of Su-30MK2 jets is planned for late 2012, according to officials.(*)
