Jakarta (ANTARA News) - U.S. Embassy Jakarta held the "Generation Change" and "Viral Peace" workshops April 27-28 with 28 young Indonesians from around the country, the embassy said in its official website on Friday.

Two American trainers, Wajahat Ali and Humera Khan, led the workshops, which included discussions of tolerance, community building, and how to use online tools and social media platforms to develop peace networks.

During the workshops, Deputy Chief of Mission Ted Osius met with the students, who shared personal stories about intolerance and violence in their own communities. Jakarta is one of four workshop sites in Asia. The others are Singapore, Philippines and Malaysia.
