The President and entourage including First Lady Ani Yudhoyono arrived at the house of mourning at 09.20 p.m. He later went to the room where she was laid in state.
Emma Norma Soedharmono died of a complication of diseases at Pertamina Hospital in South Jakarta on Wednesday afternoon. She was 85.
She will be buried at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery in South Jakarta on Thursday.
Former vice president Soedharmono died on January 25, 2006. He assumed the post of vice president in March 1988 for a five-year term. (S012)
