Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo said that the realization of tax collection until October 5, 2012 had reached Rp702 trillion, or 69.2 percent of the Rp1,016 trillion target.

According to the finance minister who was attending a plenary session of the cabinet at the Presidential Office here on Thursday, the tax performance this year is almost the same as that last year but this year the realization of tax is bigger.

Tax revenues until October 7, 2011 reached Rp622 trillion or 71 percent of the total tax collected in 2011 at 878 trillion.

He said that the state`s non-tax revenue (PNBP) up to October 5, 2012 had reached Rp208 trillion, or 61 percent of the target amounting to Rp341 trillion.

The minister said that this year`s non-tax revenue has not yet been maximal though it is higher than that in the previous year. Last year, non-tax revenue collected until October 7, 2011 reached Rp213 trillion or 71 percent of the target at Rp288 trillion.

"PNBP this year is not yet maximal because world commodity prices are corrected," he said.

In the meantime, the realization of state expenditure until October 5, 2012 reached Rp999.3 trillion, or 64 percent of the targeted expenditure at Rp1,548.3 trillion.

The minister estimated that up to the end of the year state expenditure would reach 92 percent, or almost the same that of last year which was 90 percent.

He said that the state expenditure deficit was expected to increase from 2.23 percen tto 2.33 percent.
