The four police officers and a civilian were arrested on charge of drug abuse, Makassar police spokesman adj. Sr. Comr Endi Sutendi said here on Sunday.
The civilian is identified as Herman, 27, a post graduate student of the Indonesian Muslim University in the city.
The anti drug squad found evidence in the form of drug and confiscated firearms from the police members , Endi said.
They did not resist arrest and they had been sent to the city police headquarters for questioning, he said.
