"We hope to strengthen our cooperation."Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA News) - Military attach's from 14 countries are on a visit to Bali to study the organisational structure of the local government, military administration and the culture of the people on the island of paradise.
"It is our annual visit to different places. Today, we are in Bali and on Wednesday, we will be in Lombok," Brunei Darussalam`s Defence Attach', Lieutenant Colonel Haslen Bin Haji Hassan, said on Monday.
He said that there are a total of 14 military attach's, from Myanmar, Vietnam, Brunei Darussalam, Italy, South Korea, Pakistan, Prance, India, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and New Zealand.
According to Haslen, they decided to visit Bali because of its unique culture, which continues to attract foreign tourists.
He hoped that through this visit, the military attach's will be able to learn more about the structure of the government and the military administration in Bali.
Meanwhile, the governor of Bali, Made Mangku Pastika, said that the local people maintained cultural diversity because the place is made up of cultural villages.
Made pointed out that even in the resorts in Kuta and Badung, the local people maintain their culture and tradition.
"Through such visits by the military attach's, we hope to strengthen our cooperation, particularly in the fight against terrorism," the governor added.
