Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The results of the recent extraordinary meeting in Bali have been able to unite cadres, the ruling Democratic Party`s deputy secretary general, Sofwatillah Mohzaib, said here on Tuesday.

"In the KLB meeting in Bali, all participants had given full authority to SBY (Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono) to lead the Democratic Party until 2015," he said.

He said the KLB had also given the new general chairman who had been elected by acclamation to build a new structure and conduct restructuring.

He said Yudhoyono who is also the president will be helped by a team to add or replace officials.

According to information Yudhoyono plans to add two more deputy general chairmen to help him carry out his tasks, in addition to present deputy general chairmen Max Sopacua and Johny Allen Marbun.

Asked if Marzuki Alie`s camp would propose names to him Sofwatillah said there had been no camps now in the party, adding "all cadres have been united to support SBY to meet the general elections in 2014," he said.

He said Yudhoyono would conduct improvements to restore the party`s electability.

The party`s electability has sharply dropped after some of its cadres were involved in corruption cases.

The KLB was held after its former general chairman, Anas Urbaningrum, resigned following his naming as a suspect in a corruption case by the Corruption Eradication Commission.
