"I am invited to become a keynote speaker at the Indonesian Students Conference Forum in the People`s Republic of China," Dahlan said after presiding over a meeting here on Thursday.
Dahlan is scheduled to leave for Beijing on Friday (May 24) at 10 pm local time.
According to him, he received an invitation a long time ago to give a general lecture in the Peking university but only now he can fulfill it.
The minister, however, did not mention the topic of lecture he will deliver, adding that he will have dialogue with the students.
"Indonesian students in China originating from various circles ranging from children of ranking officials, entrepreneurs to children of Islamic figures," he said, noting that China is a favorite destination for education now.
