The index of the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) rose 0.04 points to close at 4,610.38 points with index of 45 mosty liquid stock down 0.04 percent to 771.90 points.
BEI recorded 147,345 transactions involving 2.958 billion shares worth Rp3.894 trillion changing hands with decliners outnumbering dainers by 170 to 109.
Regional markets such as Hang Seng closed with index down 0.32 percent to 21,883.66 points, Nikkei-225 index was 1.45 percent lower at 13,668.32 points and that of Straits Times fell 0.72 percent to 3,221.93 points.
