Also present at the event were Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR) Marzuki Ali, People`s Representative Council (DPP) Chairman Irman Gusman, Vice President Boediono, cabinet ministers, former president BJ Habibie, former vice president M Jusuf Kalla and a number of other officials.
This time the joint session was led by DPD Chairman Irman Gusman.
At 02.30 p.m. the President is also scheduled to deliver the draft 2014 state budget and financial notes at the joint session with the DPR and DPD at the parliament building.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa said earlier that in the draft 2014 state budget the government will take advantage of wider fiscal room for infrastructure expenditure.(*)
