"The implementation of the BPJS needs doctors who will be assigned to work at the community health centers so that all the services will not have to be necessarily referred to or tackled by hospitals," noted Eko Sutrisno, head of the State Personnel agency here on Tuesday.
According to him, the recruitment is in accordance with the Government Regulation Number 56 /2012, which states that only medical doctors can be appointed as civil servants without appearing for the civil services entrance examination.
Eko added that the doctors will be placed at the community health centers located in the underdeveloped regions, remote areas, and the outer island for a period of at least five years.
Apart from this, the doctors will receive the standard salary plus allowances applicable to civil servants and some other benefits for being posted in remote areas, he quoted without divulging the exact salary details.
Eko also stated that, so far, for the three thousand vacancies, only 300 to 400 doctors meet the eligibility requirements.(*)
