Denpasar (ANTARA News) - Two Japanese divers remain missing as of Tuesday afternoon while five others have been found alive and sent to a local hospital, Bali Provinces Police Chief Inspector General Albertus Julius Benny Mokalu.

Rescuers continued their efforts to search the missing tourists who took a diving session in Nusa Penida water of Klungkung area on February 14, he said here Tuesday.

"Five survivors are being hospitalized. They experienced dehydration and bruise after getting stranded in open water for too long," Albertus said.

One of the two missing tourists was a diving instructor, he said, adding that the accident happened due to bad weather though they had strictly followed safety procedures.
