Denpasar (ANTARA News) - The Sanglah Central Hospital in Denpasar has stated that the health of the four Japanese nationals who drowned in Lembongan waters of Nusa Penida, Bali, is stable.

"The four victims who are being treated in Denpasars Sanglah Hospital are normal and are ready to return to their homes," stated Director of Medical Service in Sanglah Hospital Anak Agung N Jayakusuma here on Wednesday.

He added that the four victims are still being treated in the inpatient room where they will wait for their relatives.

The victims suffered sunburns after being tossed around in the sea. Meanwhile, the two victims, Emi Yamamoto and Aya Morizowo, are still being treated by the hospital and not yet ready to return home.

"Two of the victims are not ready to return to their residence. They are currently waiting for their family to visit and pick them up," Jayakusuma explained.

The two victims will be transferred from the intensive room to the inpatient room in order to receive maximum treatment.

"We will keep the victims in the inpatient room since their conditions have improved," Jayakusuma pointed out.

The four victims whose condition is stable are Emi Yamamoto, Modosomo Aya, Yosdomi Atsumi, and Yosodonme Naomi.

The hospital will treat them along with psychological trauma consultation.

The Director added that the victims are able to communicate now and will receive treatment for burned skin along with medicines and vitamins.

The hospital has examined their faces and hands of victims who had sunburns.

"They have now been able to communicate with their friends," Jayakusuma explained.
