Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Outgoing president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to take incoming president Joko Widodo on a tour of the State Palace complex on Sunday afternoon to get the latter familiar with its facilities.

Joko Widodo or Jokowi as he is also often called will arrive at the State Palace compound at 3pm, presidential spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha said in a text message to Antara.

"The meeting will be continued with a tour of the presidential office where cabinet meetings are often held and guests are received," he said.

Julian said they would visit Istana Negara before returning to Istana Merdeka to check preparations for a ceremony to welcome Joko Widodo after his inauguration on October 20.

The State Palace complex consists of two palaces namely Istana Merdeka and Istana Negara.
