Livi Zheng directed and starred in Brush with Danger. After starting her career as a stunt-woman, Livi went on to create Brush with Danger at the age of 23, making her quite possibly the first Asian female director of action films in Hollywood.
Brush with Danger tells the story of a brother and a sister, a fighter and a painter, who arrive in Seattle after a hazardous journey in a shipping container. An art gallery owner recognizes their talents and takes them in, encouraging them both to pursue their dreams. But he's not the person he seems to be and their dreams turn into a Brush with Danger.
Brush With Danger's premiere in Los Angeles was attended by many notable dignitaries, including Mr. Don Hall, the Governor of the Oscars and Ms. Sri Wahyuni, Acting Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia.
