The profit target is 14.6 percent higher than profit of US$1.51 billion in 2014.Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State-owned energy company PT Pertamina has set a target for net profit at US$1.73 billion (around Rp22 trillion) in 2015.
The profit target is 14.6 percent higher than profit of US$1.51 billion in 2014, according to its working and budget plan, yet to be approved by the minister for state companies.
Its income target is set at US$49.93 billion with cost of goods sold at US$42.67 billion , operating cost at US$3.62 billion, operating profit at US$3.63 billion and Earning before interest, tax , depreciation and amortization (EBTIDA) at US$5.76 billion.
The assumptions used to calculate the target is the price of Indonesian crude oil (ICP) is US$60 per barrel, a US dollar is Rp12,500, the MOP prices for premium gasoline is US$68.2 per barrel and diesel oil is US$72.3 per barrel , contract price of Aramco is US$571.9 per ton.
The working plan said after suffering losses of US$107 million in January and US$105 million in February in 2015, there was a net profit estimated at US$240 million in March.
In the first quarter of 2015, therefore, the company was estimated to chalk up a net profit of US$28 million.
The working plan also shows that income in the first quarter of this year was estimated at US$10.68 billion, with cost of goods sold at US$9.68 billion , operating cost of US$449 million, operating profit of US$550 million and EBITDA US$932 million.
Realization of ICP in the first three months of the year was US$51.1 per barrels , a dollar averaged Rp12,804, MOP for premium was US$63 per barrel, MOPS for diesel oil US$67.5 per barrel, and CPA US$465.1 per ton .
In 2014, income was recorded at US$70.65 billion with cost of goods sold at US$63.86 billion , operating cost at US$2.16 billion , operating profit at US$4.63 billion and EBITDA at US$5.84 billion.
Realization of ICP in 2014 was US$96.5 per barrel, a dollar was Rp11,878 , MOPS fort premium US$106.4 per barrel, MOPS for diesel oil at US$111.8 per barrel, and CPA US$802.2 per ton.(*)
