Guntur said he was happy at having broken the Asian record. He also emerged as the fastest diver in the diving finals in 50 meter bifins.
"Thank God that I could break the Asian record this time," he added.
The achievement could not have been possible without the guidance of his coach who continuously monitored his progress.
He underlined that his training in China for two and a half years also contributed to his success.
"I was trained very much how to sprint while I was being trained in China for two and a half years," he recalled.(*)
