Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) led a Limited Cabinet Meeting on Tuesday to discuss various strategies for improving the image of Indonesia in the world.

The meeting also discussed ways to develop the digital economy further.

"We all should correct our ego-centrism as we make efforts for national brand branding," the president counseled.

The President said all stakeholders need to consolidate their efforts so that Indonesia can compete with other countries.

President Jokowi held the meeting at his office in the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday. It began at 14:40 pm.

Several ministers attending the meeting, including Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Wiranto, Chief Economic Minister Darmin Nasution, Minister of National Development Planning and Head of National Development Planning Agency Bambang Brodjonegoro, Tourism Minister Arief Yahya and Communications and Informatics Minister Rudiantara.

Head of Creative Economy Triawan Munaf, Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita, Chief of the Presidential Staff Office Teten Masduki, Deputy Finance Minister Mardiasmo, State-owned Enterprises Minister Rini Soemarno, Youths and Sports Affairs Minister Imam Nahrawi, State Secretary Pratikno and Cabinet Secretary Pramono Agung also attended the meeting.(*)
