CSR is no longer an obligation for the company but a need for developing the company`s sustainable growth."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina said that corporate social responsibility (CSR) is needed for the sustainable growth of a company.
The CSR is a form of investment for the continuation of the companys growth. The company should not grow alone but with the surrounding locals, so that the growth will benefit both the company and the locals.
"CSR is no longer an obligation for the company but a need for developing the companys sustainable growth. After all, the government has the commitment to the environment, which is why we support it," Pertamina President Director Dwi Soetjipto said in Jakarta on Thursday.
He said Pertminas CSR has the vision toward a better life with two missions in carrying out its CSR commitment. It is expected to provide added values for all stakeholders in supporting the growth of the company and to build the sustainability of the people.
