Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will give the documents of the cases it handles to the National Archive of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI).

"We have inquiry, investigation and prosecution at every stage of planning, but the implementation may differ from the plan. Only then is it transferred to the next stage, and that details might exist," KPK chairman Agus Rahardjo said at the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between KPK and ANRI on Thursday.

He said the MoU, an archives-organizing cooperation, is an effort to combat corruption by organizing archives on quality basis in the ministries or agencies and state-owned enterprises and encouraging its use.

Rahardjo said the MoU will be useful as it will ease the Commissions burden of filing.

ANRI chief Mustari Irawan said some of the documents from KPK have already been submitted to ANRI.
