The vice president was accompanied by Indonesian Military Chief General Gatot Nurmantyo, Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi, and Religious Affairs Minister Lukman Hakim Syaifudin.
King Salman is on a half-day visit to Brunei and will then leave for a vacation in Bali until March 9.
On Friday night, Kalla had held a closed-door meeting with King Salman at the Raffles Hotel in Jakarta.
Vice President Kallas spokesman Husain Abdullah pointed out that during the meeting, King Salman had reiterated his commitment to implementing all cooperation agreements inked by the two countries.
During his visit to Jakarta on March 1-4, the governments of Indonesia and Saudi Arabia had signed 10 cooperation agreements that were inked during a bilateral meeting between President Joko Widodo and King Salman at the Bogor Palace in Bogor, West Java Province, on Wednesday.
The bilateral cooperation covered the areas of culture, health, the improvement of status of bilateral mechanisms, Islamic affairs, science education, technology, marine affairs and fisheries, handling of cross-border crime, flight services, small and medium enterprises, and trade.
Governor of Bali Province I Made Mangku Pastika stated that all preparations had been made to welcome King Salman and his family for a vacation in Bali.
King Salman and his entourage are scheduled to arrive in Bali on Saturday afternoon and will be welcomed with the Balinese traditional dance Pendet at the Ngurah Rai Airport.(*)
