Jakarta, Apr 28 (Antara) - Indonesian Consul General in Sydney, Yayan G.H. Mulyana, discussed more structured and formal relationships and cooperation opportunities between Wollongong City and Indonesian cities.
The discussion was held at a meeting between Mulyana and the Mayor of Wollongong, Gordon Alfred Bradbery OAM at the Wollongong City Council Administration Building on Thursday (Apr 27), according to a statement from Information, Social and Cultural Affairs of the Indonesian Consulate General, H. Dimara, received by Antara here on Friday.
The tea meeting was held in an atmosphere of intimacy and friendship.
In addition to discussing cooperation between the cities of Indonesia and Wollongong, Mulyana and Bradbery also discussed the development of the Indonesian community in the coastal city, which is located south of Sydney along the Grand Pacific Drive.
The Consul General expressed his appreciation to Wollongong administration for its support toward the development of the Indonesian community.
He also promoted maritime cooperation, particularly in the field of coastal city management.

Meanwhile, Bradbery welcomed Mulyana and confirmed his willingness to build a structured and formal cooperation between Wollongong City and Indonesia.
Mulyanas meeting with Bradbery is part of the consulates efforts to promote and encourage city-to-city diplomacy between cities in Indonesia and non-metropolitan cities in the working area of the Consulate General in Sydney.
