"We visited the pepper plantation to further explore the area following a meeting with President Joko Widodo," Toirovich said here on Wednesday.
The plantation is combined with a biodiverse forest area.
Toirovich expressed interest in gaining information on the cultivation process of pepper in Bangka Province.
Additionally, Regional Secretary of Bangka Tengah administration Sugianto noted that the region is focusing on the plantation of the pepper commodity.
"We are optimistic of realizing further cooperation in the plantation sector, particularly to increase the price of pepper," Sugianto added.(*)
