The organization of hajj and umrah along with services to pilgrims is one of the top priorities of the Saudi Arabian government and a continuing historical role for Muslims all over the world, a saudi source at the Minister of Culture and Information said from Saudi Arabia replying a question by Antara on Tuesday.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdelaziz, has made every effort to serve hajj and umrah pilgrims from various countries so they can conduct their worship peacefully.
The 2030 Vision of Saudi Arabia which was introduced by Prince Muhammad bin Salman is based on three pillars, namely, making Saudi Arabia the heart of the Arab and Islam world, making the country a global investment powerhouse, and making Saudi Arabia a hub that connects three continents of Asia, Europe and Africa.
The Indonesian government has stated its support for Saudi Arabia`s 2030 Vision which has been launched by the Crown Prince of the Kingdom, Muhammad bin Salman.
One of the expectations included in the 2030 Vision is the Saudi government`s plan to enhance the number of hajj and umrah pilgrims besides providing good services to 30 million hajj and umrah pilgrims by 2039.
The plan stems from its success in managing the largest umrah season, allowing nearly 6.5 million worshipers from around the world to perform worship in the Holy Land.
The relations between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia and the leaders of the two countries are getting closer and strengthening the friendship in various fields.
"Saudi Arabia is the heart of Islam and Indonesia is a strategic depth of Saudi Arabia," The source added.
Saudi Arabia will never stop trying to strengthen its security, maintain its stability, and preserve the interests of all pilgrims.
The Kingdom is proud to have the Two Islamic Holy Mosques located on the land of Arabia and rejecting any attempt to politicize Haj or internationalize the Haramain administration since the government of Saudi Arabia is managing successfully throughout the decades to organize Haj season peacefully and perfectly.
Around three million Muslims gather in Mina every year to follow the footsteps of the glorious Prophet Muhammad to perform one of the main pillars of Islam, namely, hajj performance. The government of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of Two Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz considered that serving the hajj and umrah is the Islamic duty of the government.
Every year millions of Muslims come to the Holy Land to perform hajj and umrah and get the best services from the government of Saudi Arabia.
