A local resident of Mamolo Village on Sunday confirmed that a local resident was bitten by a crocodile that suddenly appeared in the settlement.
A crocodile appeared and bit Sudding, a local resident, who suffered injuries to his body on the left shoulder, left ribs, and chin.
After the crocodile bit the resident, the local people tried to capture it using nylon ropes.
East and North Kalimantan Section Head Operation of the Indonesian National Agency of Search and Relief Octavianto stated that he had received information approximately at 6:45 a.m. local time today.
The report noted that Sudding was carrying on with daily activities around his house when he was suddenly attacked by a crocodile that directly bit his body.
As a result of the reptile`s bite, Sudding suffered from a severe torn wound on the left shoulder.
As Sudding managed to escape during the crocodile attack, he was brought to the nearest clinic.
Based on information received from the local residents, a crocodile that had been tied was released.
