Bekasi, W Java (ANTARA News) - Taiwan`s U-23 national soccer team coach Wushung Pen hoped that the grass of Bekasi`s Patriot Candrabhaga Soccer Field, West Java, would be cut shorter to make easier for players to play the ball.

"The field grass is much longer than we have expected. We hope the grass would be cut shorter so that the ball can be well controlled," said Wushung Pen at Patriot Candrabhaga soccer field, Bekasi, West Java, after a match between his team against the Palestinian team in the 18th Asian Games 2018, Group A, on Friday (Aug 10).

However, he does not want to make non-technical factors such as grass or weather conditions as a reason for not performing maximally.

For Wushung Pen, team preparations, including vital aspects such as playing techniques and strategies, are the key factors determining whether or not a game is won.

"We are more focused on our own team," he said.
